This was originally 'concept art' for my fanfic story of Bleach The Liquid Heavens. This concerns the 5th District Lord Kurosaki Ichigo, who dies at the end of the Bleach Series (well, my version, anyways), goes to Sereitei before the collapse and becomes a captain shortly after to find Orihime (who dies as well). Using all the resources he can, Ichigo starts to become more and more connected to his inner hollow where it not only changes him personality wise (the guy becomes batshit insane), but also it affects him physically. Now he walks around with half of his face burnt by hollow reiatsu with the ability to shoot cero blasts as strong as Witch-Hinamori's kido.

In the Liquid Heavens, he's one of the main antagonists to the plotline, and he's a tragic villain in a way. He's sold his soul to the devil (gone too far into the hollow deep-end) for enough strength and power to find the woman he feels guilty for (Orihime, whom he regrets couldn't save and is now searching Soul Society for). Of course, the Liquid Heavens will be running after the Equilibrium of Adoration, so consider this piece as pure fanart from a delusional bleach fanboy.

There's a bit of discrepancy between the shadow on his face and the rest of his body, but there are in fact two light sources - the cero he's charging up and another offscreen that's responsible for the face, so it's not a mistake on my part.

I might as well start doing this now, but Kurosaki Ichigo is owned by Kubo Tite. And yeah.
